Builders Mutual Participates in OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down
Raleigh, NC – Builders Mutual Insurance Company participated in the 2022 OSHA National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls in construction from May 2-13, 2022
Over these two weeks, Builders Mutual risk management consultants in our market footprint met with policyholders on their job-sites to provide fall protection safety information and encourage participation in the stand-down for safety. Our team visited 189 job-sites in eight states and the District of Columbia, and trained more than 2,250 workers.
“Falls remain the #1 accident on the job-site and the leading cause of death in construction. OSHA National Safety Stand-Down provides a platform for Builders Mutual to reiterate the importance of fall protection and general job-site safety,” notes Mike Gerber, Chief Executive Officer at Builders Mutual.
This is the ninth consecutive year Builders Mutual has participated and encouraged our policyholders to join in the National Safety Stand-Down.
