Our Risk Management teams work hand-in-hand with our policyholders to identify job-site hazards and deliver solutions to safeguard against risks. Year after year, the #1 reported job-site accident remains the same—falls. Whether it's a fall off a ladder or improperly assembled scaffolding, missing guardrails, or a lack of fall protection, falls can be devastating. However, with proper training and protection, they can be prevented.

That's why Builders Mutual participates in OSHA's annual National Safety Stand-Down, a week-long voluntary event designed to encourage employers and workers to pause for one day to discuss fall hazards and reinforce the importance of fall protection. Across our footprint, our Risk Management team visits job-sites and speaks with workers to discuss fall protection and provide training to emphasize its critical importance—so important that we extend the event for multiple weeks! This year, our team conducted 185 trainings across nine states, reaching more than 2,000 attendees.
