Each year, Builders Mutual participates in OSHA's National Safety Stand-Down, a week-long voluntary event designed to encourage employers and workers to pause for one day to discuss fall hazards and reinforce the importance of fall protection. Across our footprint, our Risk Management team visits job-sites and speaks with workers to discuss fall protection and provide training to emphasize its critical importance - so important that we extend the event another week! This year, our team held 159 Stand-Down trainings for 1,865 workers.
