Builders Mutual Congratulates 2008 CBIA Designees
Fri Jan 16, 2009
Builders Mutual Insurance Company is pleased to announce the 2008 Certified Builders Insurance Agent (CBIA) designees. Each honoree successfully completed a series of seven, four-hour continuing education courses and passed a comprehensive final exam offered through Builders University to obtain this designation. Their commitment to completing the program proves their dedication to understanding the insurance needs of the building industry.
"Builders University is a strenuous program designed to assist our agency partners in understanding the complexities of the construction insurance market," explains Michele Hemric, Builders Mutual’s Director of Training and Development. "We are proud to confer the CBIA designation in representation of their knowledge and commitment to the industry." In honor of their accomplishment, the 2008 CBIA designees have been added to the BU CBIA Designations list on buildersmutual.com.
Builders University is a series of educational programs that provides training to Builders Mutual’s agents, employees and policyholders. Started in 2002, Builders University has been focused on enhancing producers’ and CSRs’ product and procedure knowledge through information and education. To date, more than 1,200 producers have attended Builders University courses and more than 300 have completed the CBIA requirements.
