We have an immediate vacancy for an IT Project Manager. The Project Manager (PM) will manage large-scale, enterprise IT projects as well as support and mentor the business units in project management and project process. The PM will work with the CIO, IT Directors and business owners to initiate, manage and complete projects. The PM will be responsible for overall project schedule and communication and will perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities within the first six months of employment

Oversee vendor engagement
-
Provide on-going risk management and escalation if necessary
-
Update schedule/plan on regular basis and provide timely and accurate status reporting to all levels in the company

Meet weekly with project team to assign action items, gain status and identify project risks
-
Execute communication plan
-
Update project budget monthly
-
Develop scope and planning for newly identified projects
-
Provide support where necessary for IT initiatives and/or short-term projects as assigned by the Director
On-going responsibilities

Develop project schedules, projects plans and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Project
-
Develop communication plans and communications to projects teams, stakeholders and sponsors
-
Schedule and conduct project team meetings for all ongoing projects
-
Provide project leadership to project team members and across IT organization
-
Plan, schedule and facilitate reviews of key software project lifecycle milestones
-
Ensure that Project Management tools and methodologies are appropriately applied
-
Ability to identify resistance, welcome constructive conflict, and build solutions
-
Motivate and energize team members and the business community with the Project Management vision
-
Oversee and maintain liaison between all parties concerned with the project to facilitate any changes or modifications and to facilitate resolution of project problems including vendors
Job Qualifications
-
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must currently hold Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
-
Strong familiarity with the software development lifecycle practices and project methodologies
-
Several years of experience with MS Project or MS Project Server and all MS Office applications
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proven vendor management skills
-
Strong coaching and mentorship skills required
- Must be a strong role model capable of promoting project management processes.
- Excellent attitude and ability to work with all levels of business and IT Management

We have an immediate vacancy for a Commercial Lines Rater. This position is a great way to be introduced to the multiple facets of the insurance industry. The Commercial Lines Rater assigns the appropriate rating to policies and issues 5-10 complete and accurate policies per day. This position may start as a temp-to-hire, with the temporary period not to exceed 90 days.
Duties include:

Review underwriting files for accuracy and completeness

Enter data into basic contract screen

Allocate funds received to proper line of business

Apply the appropriate rating rules
-
Code commercial line policies
-
Process approved endorsements
-
Check rating worksheet for accuracy, referring to Commercial Lines

Manual (CLM) as necessary
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred with at least two years customer service experience in an insurance environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer (MS Office), data entry, and customer service skills required.
- Experience with and/or ability to learn insurance industry imaging and policy management systems is required.
Job Preferences

Insurance rating experience preferred.

Good working knowledge of the technical aspects of each line of the insurance business.

Strong preference for bilingual (English/Spanish) incumbents.

May hire at the higher end of the Rater I position contingent upon education and job experience.
